In 2000 and prior to floating on the NASDAQ, Pixelworks wanted a cost-effective way of covering Europe, a region with no critical revenue mass at that time. We increased their turnover in the region from $3m to $28m in just five years. How did we achieve this phenomenal growth? Our close, integrated relationship with Pixelworks afforded us the insight required to manage the young company’s business from one stage of growth to the next. This, in turn, has provided a blueprint for our approach to new market sectors – something we enjoy.

In 2010 we were delighted to become the northern European sales force for US based AMD Embedded Solutions, supporting not only direct sales, but also indirect sales for their board vendors and numerous third-parties. Our decades of experience selling on behalf of multi-billion dollar blue-chip companies, enabled us to grow their business tenfold within 3 years.

We also carry on our long standing reputation for supplying complementary components and have a representative agreement with the industrial memory specialist Goodram. The fact is that Firefly is a major ‘design-in authority’ for the world’s leading hi-tech semiconductor manufacturers. That’s a reputation we have worked hard to earn and which we value.
